I started taking picures as a teenager with my grandfathers camera. My love for visual story telling comes from him. And also from my dad and my two stepfathers, as my mother was married to three photographers.

I graduated from the Photo Academy in Amsterdam and have been working as a freelance photographer for 18 years. In the recent years I've been also focused on my work as a director.
